Gregory J. Wieland, AIA, has joined Altus as a design principal. Wieland will provide firm-wide design leadership with a focus on the firm’s healthcare practice, and developing next-generation facilities that incorporate leading-edge technologies, operational best practices, and foster efficiency and sustainability. He will also help the firm to expand its domestic and international markets.
Wieland has more than 37 years of experience in architectural design and master planning of healthcare, research and mixed-use facilities in the U.S. and around the world, including projects in Russia, Peru, Turkey, Taiwan, China, Mongolia, Canada, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. He is recognized as a leader in innovative planning and design for international medical tourism campuses, large medical centers, cancer research facilities, student health facilities and community hospitals.
