Project Description:

Immanuel Rehabilitation Center opened an inpatient unit, a state-of-the art facility that serves patients recovering from conditions such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma and strokes. The impressive 32,600-square-foot space includes 35 private rooms and is designed to exceed the rehabilitation and recovery needs of all patients by combining the best possible outcomes with high quality care. The therapy center also features common areas, meeting space and dining area where patients and families can gather and socialize with others going through similar situations. It’s a comfortable place for visitors, patients and family members to relax and find mutual support.

Central to all patient rooms, the large therapy gym faces an interior courtyard, allowing patients to take their sessions outside while flooding the space with natural light and warmth. Therapy kitchens and bathrooms ready patients for their transition back home while open teaming work rooms permit staff to interact with patients and each other more consistently throughout the day.
