Project Description:

CHI Health selected Altus to design a new surgery center addition and remodel of approximately 40,000 sf to their St. Francis campus in Grand Island, NE. Prior to beginning construction of new surgery addition, the existing sleep lab and clinical engineering were relocated to renovated spaces within the existing facility. After assessing the existing facility infrastructure, many MEP upgrades we made to support the renovated spaces and the new expansion.

The new surgery center includes:

• Staff locker facilities
• Staff offices and collaboration spaces
• 7 ORs
• Pre/post-operative care rooms
• 2 Endoscopy procedure rooms
• Central sterile and associated support spaces
