Third-Party Integrations & Social Media
We use third-party platform APIs to manage our company social media presence. These integrations are used solely for publishing company-authored content (articles, images, and updates) to our official business accounts. Our use of these APIs complies with each platform's developer terms and API terms of use.
The platforms and APIs we integrate with include:
- LinkedIn Community Management API — for publishing content to our LinkedIn Company Page, in compliance with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and LinkedIn Marketing API Terms
- Meta Platform APIs (Facebook Graph API, Instagram Content Publishing API) — for publishing content to our Facebook Page and Instagram Business Account
- Brevo (Sendinblue) API — for sending email newsletters to subscribers who have provided explicit opt-in consent
When we publish content via these APIs, the following data is transmitted to the respective platforms: post text, images, and scheduling metadata. This data is company-authored marketing content. We do not collect, store, or process personal data of individual LinkedIn members, Facebook users, or Instagram users through these integrations.
LinkedIn Data Handling
Our use of the LinkedIn Community Management API is limited to publishing content to our organization's LinkedIn Company Page. We access only our own organization's data (page analytics and post performance metrics). We do not access individual LinkedIn member profiles, connections, or personal data. Specifically:
- LinkedIn member data is never used for advertising, sales, or recruiting purposes
- LinkedIn member data is not exported, transferred, or distributed outside of our application
- LinkedIn member data is not combined with data from third-party sources
- Organization social activity data (post metrics) is retained for no more than 6 weeks, in compliance with LinkedIn's data storage requirements
- Individual member social activity data (comments, reactions, mentions) is cached for no more than 48 hours and then deleted
- All stored LinkedIn data will be deleted within 10 days of a deletion request or termination of our API access
LinkedIn members may revoke our application's access at any time through LinkedIn's Settings > Data Privacy > Third-party applications page. Upon revocation, we will cease accessing the member's data and delete any cached member data within 10 days.
Link Tracking
We use UTM-tagged short links in our social media posts to measure the effectiveness of our content distribution. These links track aggregate click counts and referral sources but do not identify individual users. No personal information is collected through UTM link tracking.
API Credential Security
API credentials, access tokens, and authentication secrets used for these integrations are stored as encrypted environment variables on our hosting infrastructure (Vercel). They are never exposed to end users, embedded in client-side code, or transmitted to unauthorized parties.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure servers, and access controls.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form submissions are typically retained for 3 years unless you request earlier deletion.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to access your personal data
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to restrict or object to processing
- The right to data portability
